Blue Diamond Sheet Metal was established in 1983. Our fully automated 51,000 square-foot shop is located in Medford, NY. We presently employ 80 people, including Building Trades journeymen, drivers, yard hands and office personnel. Bob Lawless, President, has been in the industry for 38 years. Bob oversees sales, billing, collections and all other day-to-day business operations.
About the Staff Field Supervision: Stephen DiMeglio oversees sheet metal operations with a staff of three field supervisors to oversee all field projects. Sales and Estimation: Bill Reichling is totally aware of all operations. He has 34 years experience in the industry and was the previous owner of Alpat Sheet Metal. Bill heads our staff of highly qualified estimators. Shop and Fabrication: Rich Freel has been our shop foreman for 20 years. Our shop is equipped with a full coil line and three computerized plasma cutters. We pride ourselves with keeping our shop humming with the latest equipment available, including the whisper lock, double corner machines, and computerized vane fabrication equipment, which assures us of top quality and timely fabrication. Sketching: Our sketching department consists of 14 CAD stations ready to take on projects of any size. About the Company We do a wide variety of work. Our jobs range from $1,000 to multi-million dollar projects. A list is available on request, and includes retail spaces; floor spaces; complete bio-medical facilities, including special stainless welding techniques; office buildings; hospitals; and we are currently in the final stage of the American Airlines terminal at JFK. We pride ourselves in performing in a completely professional manner. We will always have someone available to answer your questions immediately. We have an in-house communications system that allows immediate communication with principals, office, sketching, field supervision, drivers and foremen, insuring complete and and immediate communications to better meet the demands and servicing of our clients.
